ALLIGATOR, 5/16" DIA. FLANGED SOLID-WALL ANCHOR

Patented ALLIGATOR® anchors outperform metal anchors 2 times their diameter! During installation, the screw extrudes the special polymer into the wall of the hole radially outward and along the length of the screw, up to twice the original length of the anchor, sealing the hole and bonding the screw to the wall for safe, secure, high-strength holding. Use the flanged version where you think there may be a cavity behind the surface of the wall (like hollow brick or in tile over drywall). Use the flush-mount version for push-through installation into solid walls or ceilings.

• Holds up to 1025 lb in concrete block and up to 85 lb in 1/2" drywall with #12 screw (Industry standards recommend 1/4 of this ultimate load per anchor)
• Works in all types of materials-concrete, hollow or solid brick, tile over drywall & more
• Stronger than concrete screws in solid walls
• Can use screw gun to install-anti-rotation fins and unique head shape prevent spinning and countersinking of the anchor
• Also holds securely if you hit an unexpected cavity in the wall
• Accepts largest range of screw sizes (#8 - 5/16")
• For maximal holding in 4000 psi concrete, use 5/16" diameter lag screw
